Adhesives

We supply a range of adhesives for scale model making, craft tasks and restoration projects, including epoxy and cyanoacrylate superglues. We also offer specific adhesive formulations for bonding certain materials and are suppliers of Hxtal NYL-1, the world’s leading epoxy for glass and ceramic repair.

Epoxy Adhesives
Sylmasta Epoxy Adhesives provide high strength, durable and temperature resistant bonds to all materials. Unlike superglues which offer instant adhesion, epoxies cure in five minutes to allow more time for detailed glueing in tricky scale model and restoration applications.

Hxtal NYL-1 is a crystal clear epoxy used by professional curators, art museums and glass artists to restore priceless ceramic and glass items. It was famously used by the British Museum to repair the Portland Vase.

Cyanoacrylate Superglues
Sylmasta manufacture three grades of cyanoacrylate superglues. They are of different viscosities and offer fast bonds to all materials for arts and craft, scale model making and restoration tasks. All three grades can be purchased together in the Sylmasta Superglue Kit, alongside accessories including Ultra-Fine Nozzles and Activator.

UHU Glue & Adhesives
UHU are one of the world’s biggest manufacturers of adhesives with a range consisting of epoxy and superglues suitable for all scale model making, arts and craft tasks. They bond to wood, plastics, metal, glass, porcelain, ceramic, leather, rubber, felt, cork, fabrics, cardboard, paper and many other materials.

We stock three different formulations of UHU Epoxies with different cure times and a specialist Plastic Glue for precision application when it comes to assembling model kits and other building tasks.
