Description
UHU Plus Schnellfest is a crystal clear, high strength, two-part epoxy adhesive with a working time of approximately five minutes.
It is used in model making, kit building, art and craft projects, repair and restoration to form invisible bonds between materials.
UHU Plus Schnellfest is suitable for use on pottery, porcelain, glass, leather, wood, stone, metal and ceramics. UHU Adhesives can also be used for gap filling.
It is resistant to water, chemicals and temperatures between -20°C and +70°C. Bonds made with UHU Adhesives do not age and the cured adhesive is paintable.
To use UHU Plus Schnellfest, you press out equal amounts of the two components onto a mixing tray. The parts are then thoroughly mixed with a spatula.
A thin layer of mixed adhesive is applied to one of the two materials to be bonded. The five minute cure offers enough time to carry out relatively detailed work without being rushed, whilst at the same time reducing holding and clamping.
Once the two materials have been joined together, they must be kept in place for 20 minutes for a full cure to be obtained. It is recommended to use either a clamp or adhesive tape to keep the parts together. UHU Schnellfest becomes transparent once hardened.
