Cyanoacrylate Superglues
Sylmasta Cyanoacrylate Superglues are fast-bonding for quick adhesion to all materials in scale model, repair and craft applications. Three different grades of superglue are available as well as a range of accessories.
Each grade of superglue has a different viscosity. CAE1500 High Viscosity Superglue is the thickest, giving it a longer cure time when used on non-absorbent materials. On steel, the cure time for example is between 25 and 45 seconds. On plastic, it is 10 seconds. This longer bond time offers more control over the adhesion and assembly process, allowing parts to be moved once fitted for greater accuracy.
CAE120 Multipurpose Superglue is a medium viscosity glue which bonds instantly to plastics, metal, rubber, jewellery, porcelain, ceramic, china, fabric, card, wood and other materials. CAE3 Penetrating Superglue is a low viscosity adhesive as thin as water. It penetrates porous surfaces, flows into cracks and joints between assembled parts and accesses difficult areas.
Sylmasta also supply accessories to help with the bonding process. Ultra-Fine Nozzles dispense precision drops as small as 0.5mm. Activator speeds up the curing process, enabling faster application and preventing superglue from saturating porous materials by setting before it can seep in.
The three grades of Sylmasta Cyanoacrylate Superglues can be purchased together as 20g bottles alongside Ultra-Fine Nozzles in the Superglue Kit at a cheaper cost compared to buying glue separately. The Superglue & Activator Kit includes Activator 50ml.
