Activator for speeding up the curing time of Sylmasta Superglues sold in a 50ml bottle with brush for accurate application to small parts

SKU: ACTIVATOR-50ml Category:

Description

Sylmasta Superglue Activator speeds up the cure time of any grade of Sylmasta Cyanoacrylate Superglue.

It is coated or sprayed onto parts before bonding. When Sylmasta Superglue is then applied over the area covered with Activator, the bond time of the glue is vastly accelerated.

When used with CAE1500 High Viscosity Superglue for example, Activator decreases the cure time on metal from between 25 and 45 seconds to almost instant adhesion. This reduces the amount of time parts have to be held together manually whilst bonding takes place.

On porous materials like wood, card and fabric, a quicker cure time prevents low viscosity superglue like CAE3 Penetrating from being absorbed. Activator ensures the glue sets instantly before it can seep in.

Speeding up cure times with Activator is also useful when applying large volumes of Sylmasta Cyanoacrylate Superglue in applications such as gap filling or bonding wide joints.

The 50ml Bottle comes with a spray and a brush. The brush allows Activator to be accurately applied to smaller parts. Activator is also available in a 200ml Aerosol for covering larger surfaces and areas.

Activator can be purchased alongside all three grades of Sylmasta Superglues (CAE1500 High Viscosity, CAE120 Multipurpose and CAE3 Penetrating) and Ultra-Fine Nozzles as part of the Sylmasta Superglue & Activator Kit.

Each Kit offers a cheaper cost per purchase than when buying Superglues, Activator and Ultra-Fine Nozzles as separate items.
