Description

Milliput Superfine White has been formulated for the restoration of porcelain and other ceramics and the repair of antiques, objects d’art, Victorian dolls, picture mouldings and other pieces of art which require a fine finish.

It can be used sculpting, modelling and the repair of white domestic chinaware. Milliput Superfine White can also fill scores and dents in white domestic equipment such as washing machines and refrigerators.

Milliput comes as a two-part, cold setting, non shrinking epoxy putty in cartons containing one 56.7gm stick of resin and one 56.7gm of hardener.

The two parts are mixed together in equal quantities, sparking a chemical reaction which turns the soft putty into a rock-hard substance. Whilst soft, it can be shaped, moulded, sculpted and formed.

Milliput hardens in three to four hours depending on room temperature, offering plenty of time to work with the putty. The cure speed can be accelerated with the use of heat.

It cures underwater, is heat-resistant to 130°C and can be smoothed with water. Once fully cured Milliput can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, sandpapered and painted.

As well as Milliput Superfine White, there are five other grades available: Standard (cures to a dark yellow), Terracotta, Silver Grey, Black and Turquoise Blue. These other grades can be viewed on the Milliput section of our website.

For a harder wearing but equally easy-to-use alternative to Milliput, please see Geomfix Original A+B Modelling Putty. Geomfix Original can be used effectively on fine, delicate work as well as the largest of models or repairs.

There is also the Geomfix Coloured range of modelling epoxy putty available in 22 22 different colours, matching Swarovski crystals.

Geomfix Coloured is highly customisable. If the colour you require is not listed as one of the 22, then SylCreate have the ability to custom produce a coloured modelling putty to match your requirements. For more information on this service, please contact SylCreate.
