Description
Micro-Mesh MX Abrasive Soft Back Pads are reusable pads with abrasives on each side used for doing small jobs and spot repairs to metals and hard wood.
They contain micron graded silicon carbide crystals for finishing of hard surfaces and can be used wet or dry.
Whereas conventional sandpaper is designed to be aggressive so that it will dig deep, Micro-Mesh does the opposite.
It has an ultra-flexible cushioning layer which enables its abrasive crystals to move, allowing them to cut with a planing motion. This creates an extremely consistent scratch pattern and extraordinary levels of gloss.
Each Soft Backed Pad has abrasives either side of a foam core. This foam core provides additional flexibility, enabling the Pad to conform to surfaces whilst also being easy to hold and operate.
Different grades of MX Abrasives are available. The smaller the number, the coarser the grade. Pads can be rinsed, allowed to dry thoroughly and stored away for future use.
