Description
Micro-Mesh AO Abrasive Cloths are used for polishing aluminium, plastics, ceramic and solid surface countertops.
AO Micro-Mesh Abrasives contain aluminium oxide crystals suspended in an ultra-flexible resin bond with a flexible cotton backing, allowing the crystals to move.
This movement cuts aluminium and other solid surfaces with a planing motion, creating an extremely consistent scratch pattern and extraordinary levels of gloss.
As a result, Micro-Mesh does not leave deep random scratches like other abrasives. It cuts more rapidly because the larger sized crystals have more contact with the surface, preventing the generation of heat or the fracture of the abrasive into the material being restored.
Different grades of AO Abrasives are available. The smaller the number, the coarser the grade. Cloths can be used or wet or dry.
Micro-Mesh AO Abrasive Cloths come in three sizes – 300mm x 150mm sheets, 300mm x 300mm sheets or a 150mm x 7.5 metre roll.
